Very easy to learn – very easy to use and the price is right. While I understand advanced and modern updates are coming – the existing system works great. The training and help support are fabulous! Some fields may be customized to your industry. My only issue with the software is I would like to drag and drop some items. But I have to believe that is coming.”

Kind of “old dogs do not need to learn new tricks” . Once it was made mandatory to use, I found it so good that I wish I had not wasted so long to just do it as I know I would have made more money. Even on the WEEKENDS their team is quick to respond and resolve any issue with excellent customer service, including providing suggestions to free programs not affiliated with their firm that can help serve the needs of its customers. All in all, this will quickly be one of your best choices either for personal use, or by your team. “I’ll start by saying we are a senior level national recruiting firm. We are a group of 15 full cycle senior recruiters and have used a variety of CRM’s tailored around our industry already; PC Recruiter, Act!, Gofer and I forget what others we’ve had. Big Biller is by far the easiest and most practical we’ve used to date. We’ve barely started using it and already it has proven to be a very easy to use and useful tool. We recently converted from Gofer to Act! hosted and after a month of struggling with Act! we switched to Big Biller because of how poor Act! was supporting us. This brings up a very import asset to converting to Big Biller. Our conversion support we received from Big Biller was amazing. Their tech support is spot on. They made it seamless and were quick about it. Moving forward, their training is also a huge asset. They provide hands on training as well as follow up. Act! hosted was a total failure in so so many ways. Even while we were going through our conversion from Gofer to Act! we found one issue after another. Our rep actually erroneously forwarded a complaint of a web hosted client having extensive drop offs. Our rep emailed our principal of our organization thinking she was emailing their tech support person saying that they are having a lot of complaints on fall offs & disconnects for the month and wanting tech support. Once again, one example after another that just was not acceptable so we bounced out quickly and found Big Biller. Our practice has been in operations for over 15 years so we have explored a variety of CRM resources. At this point, Big Biller is by far the easiest and most practical we have utilized.”

“We are in the beginning stages of utilizing big biller as our software, but it is very efficient. I researched multiple ATS software programs and Big Biller offered the most value for the price. I had no idea initially that we could implement mass marketing emails and the full spectrum of generating reports, metrics and tracking.
Both Tory Tucker and Hannah Laps have made themselves available at every request, and have exercised the utmost of professionalism and patience while we are in our learning curve. I love the online webinars offered twice a week, and so do my recruiters. They jump on Fridays training often for refresher courses. We still have a lot to learn as soon as we go live, but I know I have a strong support system for when we hit the wall.
Also, the team at Hiring Hook have been brilliant in our Logo Design and Website Design, we could not be happier!!”

“Big Biller is easy to implement and affordable.
Pros: Before selecting Big Biller, we tried other services that were much more expensive and harder to implement. They also required ongoing costly upgrades. Big Biller is a hosted solution that is always available and always improving. Compared to the solutions my friends use at other search firms, we have a winner! My favorite feature is the ease of getting new resumes into the system and parsed. The HOT LIST feature also allows us to build our call lists and keep track of candidates that are perfect for our active searches.
Cons: Big Biller does not currently have a project/pipeline management tool so we still track our search progress in a spreadsheet. (I hear that they are working on a solution though.) The integration with our website is good but not great. From a candidate perspective, it seems a bit clumsy when they are trying to search through our multiple openings. I also liked it best when our tech support was provided by one of the original tech employees. He has moved up the food chain and the new tech support guy is “Mr No.” I also wish it would allow you to automatically merge candidate files in the event that two or more separate files are accidentally created.
Overall: I love it enough to keep using it. We are constantly being approached by other vendors but have no interest in changing. It seems that we are constantly uncovering new features/functions in Big Biller even though we have been using it for 5 years. Our candidates are our livelihood. We have more than 21,000 sales professionals in our database. I know that our data is safe with Big Biller.”

Cons: Front-office solution only; does not have a connection to QuickBooks. Online group training with others; not individualized. Difficult resume parsing–have to forward the resume in order to parse; can only parse up to 20 resumes at a time. Does not have the ability to link calendars with interviews, meetings, etc. Advertising options not included–a separate cost. Additional fees for storage (not cloud-based). Everything was “a la carte”–when we added all services together, it was one of the most expensive options.

“Pros: Great processes and easy to use. Tracking the candidates progress and client feedback, has never been so easy. FAST and easy is the best way to describe Big Biller. I don’t have time to document and with one click it goes into every file I need to post an activity to. And, the ongoing training they offer, is up to date and on point. I have learned a lot about the trends and where the recruiting industry is heading.
Cons: On the job order, sometimes you have two to three hiring managers you need to review a candidate for a department. And, it only allows you to enter one email contact on job order. So, you have to remember who else has to have a Cc resume on the candidate you are submitting job for. Wish they could add button to add more hiring managers for job order.

“Get BIG BILLER if you hate wasting money and like being productive!
Pros: Advertising directly from site, clean interfaces, email templates, effective parsing is always accurate, pricing is excellent, support team is excellent as well. Entering new candidates is easy, classifying them is also easy and the fact that it is easy makes it more likely that it is going to happen. Many CRMs I have used repel one from using them as they are clunky and inefficient. I like that one doesn’t have to enter information in multiple places.
Cons: I would like this product even more if it were integrated with GMAIL. At current, it only syncs with OUTLOOK. I am a google based shop and emails not being captured in the tool makes for a bit of a nuisance.
Recommendations to other buyers: I tried to WING it and found that I needed the training, even though I have a lot of experience with CRM products. Every product has it’s own little bits and pieces that are unique. Sign up for the training! It’s useful!”

Pros: I have worked with Top Echelon in the past. Although I did not purchase the product because I use another software at this time, I have used other products. The company is very customer friendly and explain how to use product.
Cons: I am using another product and did not see a reason to leave the product I have but like the idea that you can share candidates if you are part of the Top Echelon network.

“Easy to use and cost-friendly for a smaller recruiting company.
Pros: During my free trial, I found Big Biller to be very easy to use and experienced no hassle in setting up a free trial. Adding contact information was seamless and was very intuitive for me. The pricing is inexpensive considering all the features you get. My experience was positive.
Cons: I decided not to go with Big Biller largely because the back office solution they offered with contract placement would not allow, for liability reasons, some of the types of contract placements that I would like to make in the future.

Cons: Some of the searches…I am not sure if it filters through and provides us with all of the candidates that we require from a specific search, I am weary that some critical candidates are missed. Also, don’t like how Big Biller doesn’t accept duplicate resumes. For example, if we send Jane Doe again, it bounces back, however, Jane Doe may have an updated resume that we would rather include. I think it should accept the duplicate and attach it to the profile already in Big Biller.

Once I’ve entered a new candidate into the system, I’d like to be able to link that candidate to the various orders I have for which that person might be submitted. Instead, I have to go to each order individually and then backtrack from each to linking that candidate. Second, I would also like to be able to submit a connected candidate to the contact directly from the job order, as opposed to having to create a new email to the contact and then selecting the job order to which that submission should be applied/notated.

There are solid features in terms of linking applicants to positions, applicant searching, emailing from the system, etc. that you would get on the more expensive ATSs. This system is not perfect, and there a are few things that can take a bit to get used to, but overall it is a great value for the money and easy to learn.
Cons: You can only link the candidate to the job from the candidate screen, and when you update the candidates in the jobs module the candidate jumps to a new position reflecting its advancement relative to other candidates as soon as you update the candidate (introduction, interview, etc.). So sometimes, if want to push a candidate up two notches and you are not paying attention to the movement of the candidates, you advance to the wrong candidate.

“Comments: I’ve been working with Big Biller many years. It’s easy to use and stable. Brought a team of recruiting partners onto BB several years ago because of its ease of use.
Pros: I work with 7 other recruiting partners with different levels of sophistication using software products. We had used other ATS products but Big Biller was the one that was the easiest to use and the group stuck with. It’s stable, easy to access online and uncomplicated. There is also some degree of customization allowed.
Cons: Not as feature rich as other products. BB’s own email has been somewhat problematic due to some servers kicking out email sent from Big Biller thinking it was spam. I now send all emails through outlook. The only problem is the outlook integration with BB is clunky. You have to manually hit a button for each email you send or want to attach to a record on BB.
