The Focus for the Columbus Conference: Split Placements!

The official start of the Top Echelon Network Columbus Conference isn’t until tomorrow, but there’s still plenty of things happening today at the Embassy Suites . . . with the focus for most of them being to help recruiters make more placements, specifically split placements.

First, Top Echelon Internet Strategies Manager Todd Bossler is presenting Big Biller recruiting software training, which started at 1 p.m. and will last until 5 p.m.  Todd is showing those in attendance all of the fancy new bells and whistles associated with the new version of Big Biller, which was officially released on Wednesday, November 3.  (Remember, Todd will be conducting “Training Tuesday” sessions every week for the remainder of this month to help recruiters get up to speed on the new software, and there are now four recorded "Training Tuesday" sessions available to recruiters.)

Also, tonight is the ever-popular Networking Icebreaker Reception, scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Columbus.  It’s at the Icebreaker that recruiters will get the opportunity to meet and greet one another informally in a social setting.  That helps them to network more effectively during the course of the conference.  Following the Icebreaker, recruiters usually continue to network with each other at other locations, continuing to discuss their recruiting business, as well as their hot job orders and candidates.

Time and again, it’s been proven that recruiters who meet on a face-to-face basis are more likely to make split placements together.  While some of the recruiters in Columbus have already made splits together, others have not . . . and there’s no doubt that new Trading Partner relationships—and even more split placements—will result from this conference.

How about you?  Are you currently attending the Columbus Conference?  Have you attended Top Echelon events in the past and made split placements because of it?  What's your experience been?
