Payrolling situations are becoming more common and Top Echelon Contracting can assist you and your client. In a traditional payrolling situation, the client already has the candidate, but they do NOT want to add him/her to their own payroll. The client needs a back-office provider to become the employer, thus eliminating a variety of paperwork issues, benefit problems, liability, exposure, etc. Independent contract employees (1099s) are often converted to W-2 payrolled employees. Because there is minimal effort on the recruiters part, an average recruiter share for payrolled candidates is a small, flat-rate percentage of the hourly pay rate. The entire placement can be handled by Top Echelon Contracting, including the distribution of income to the recruiter. Note: Top Echelon contracting's primary business focus is technical, professional, and high-end healthcare contractors. |
